Everything you need to know about Vale Matcha
All of our matcha is sourced from a single organic family farm in the hills of Shizuoka, Japan, at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The family behind our matcha has spent more than 20 years perfecting organic production and holds a Japanese patent for their methods.
Our matcha is made from first-harvest tea leaves that are shade-grown for 20+ days, hand-picked, and stone-milled to a fine 9-micron powder. This process produces a vibrant green color, smooth texture, and naturally sweet, umami-rich flavor with no bitterness.
Yes. Our matcha is JAS organic, grown on a family farm in Shizuoka, Japan. The farm uses natural, sustainable growing methods that have been refined over two decades.
Store your matcha in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Once opened, we recommend keeping it sealed and using it within 4-6 weeks for the freshest flavor and color. Refrigeration is fine as long as the container is airtight.
Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping within the continental US takes 3-5 business days and is free on all orders for a limited time. Expedited options are available at checkout.
We currently ship within the United States. We are working on expanding to international shipping in the future.
We want you to love your matcha. If something is wrong with your order or your first experience is not what you expected, contact us at support@valematcha.com within 30 days of the shipping label date and we will help make it right. Unopened products can be returned within 30 days for a refund. Because matcha is a fresh food, opened products are not eligible for a cash refund based on taste alone, though we may offer a replacement or store credit for first-time customers. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.
